<p>I personally think its a great company.

<p>Let me start out by saying its not cheap. I pay nearly $300 a month out of my paychecks and thats with the company paying 80 percent. And, they increase their rates annually. The last increase was roughly 40 percent.

<p>While this is the reason many of my co-workers despise Destiny Health I known a long time ago to look at value, not just reward.

<p>Taking into support more of my co-workers fumes or have some range of chronic illness and realizing every other insurance company would increase our rates too I have learned to look at the benefits Im getting from Destiny Health that you just wont find elsewhere.

<p>For example, Destiny Health offers a program for members who must take treatment for a chronic condition. My spouse is one of these people. Her medication costs $1,300 a month. We pay $35. So, just on that, by paying $3,600 a year, I save nearly $15,000.

<p>The Destiny Health plan also includes a &#8220;bank&#8221; program which pays the first $1,000 of your healing expenses (minus prescription co-pays). Assuming you merely go to your normal yearly check ups, thats more than enough to make guaranteed you dont pay a penny out of pocket.

<p>In fact, my only real protest is, after the $1,000, we have to meet a $5,000 deductible before they pay for any other expenses. But, again, to hit that point, you would have to be at the health workers almost monthly.

<p>You arent required to use the doctors listed as preferred Destiny Health members. But, if you do, you receive additional discounts for their services. And, at least here in Wisconsin, very few doctors arent preferred. This is very cool agreeing with two of the insurance companies our company looked at last year would have required us to have a different family doctor.

<p>The thing that really sold me on Destiny Health is its drive program called subsistence. This program encourages people to take action and stay healthy by rewarding each other for everyday activities like going to a gym or permitting blood. The points you earn can be traded in for a gigantic selection of items. This year, Ive earned enough to receive a leaf blower, a new microwave oven and a wagon for my female offspring. Ive also gotten free movie tickets and free music downloads.

<p>Destiny Healths Web site also has a full-size library of medical terms and conditions. Its one of the first locales I visit when I have interrogatives. If I cant find it there, their purchaser service is also a fine resource.

<p>Again, Destiny Health isnt cheap and I dont see it coming down in price any time soon. But, if you like window shopping on value, not just price, its definitely an insurance company you should consider.</p>

There are countless Google commercials and web pages designed to attract the attention of the millions of Americans that have no health insurance. The language used is crafty. Easy, quick enrollment and low cost are emphasized. They feel your pain. They want to help.

<p>Here is what I discovered. If you will out any make of expression of interest, the form will seek your phone number. Pretty quickly you will get a call. Their empathy with your plight is maxed out. Details are sparse. Even the word insurance is a deceit, because some of these phony companies offer discounts on medical services if you use providers in some network. If you ask them to send you details in writing by either email or regular mail, they will explain that first you must enroll with them. They expect you to pay early before you even get to see any policy details whatsoever. Clearly, their strategy is aimed at desperate people, starving for health insurance. No sensible person should pay $100 or $200 before having the opportunity to carefully read all the details of any product pretending to offer health insurance. But desperate people all too often do dumb things.

<p>In a few cases I was able to get your hands on some details on the Internet. Having the patience to read eincrediblything, the so-called fine print, often buried in footremarks, is absolutely essential. You are potential to discover that you will be required to pay for all medical services, their full charges upfront, unlike real health insurance that requires only a co-payment from you and the rest spent by the insurance provider direct to the medical examiner, hospital or laboratory.
